8. 10. - 15. 11. 2020
Dust particles carry various chemical and biological substances, including Corona viruses, which are able to float in the air we breathe for several hours, days, or weeks. During our lifetime, we inhale an average of 18 kilograms of such dust particles without perceiving this process.
Dustpans is a scientific and artistic project examining dust particles as an information carrier of toxins, products of our culture and economic cycles, which over time settled on the facades of not only cultural monuments.
This layer of dust is constantly being removed as a symbol of the bitter truth about polluted nature, air toxicity and ubiquitous climate change. The aim of the exhibition Dustpans is to point out the phenomenon of dust and to recalibrate our perception, processing and understanding of the reality of the impact of human activity on the environment in which we live. When will we learn to coexist with our environment instead of constantly struggling with it?

Our bodies are not adapted to the perception of invisible dust, which is a natural part of ecosystems, or dust created by human activity.
