Why do you see the colors? - Workshop with Katsuaki Sakata
Why do you see the colors? You may believe it is easy to see colours, but it's actually a very deep world. In art and design, color is both fundamental and final expression. Sharpen your sense of light and color through a two-day workshop with an expert in the field of visual neuroscience and color psychology Katsuaki Sakata. On the first day, you will be sensing colors. Color seems to be easily visible to everyone, but is actually a subjective sensation for each person. Without being aware of your own senses, it is difficult to judge colors consistently. Through the experience of seeing colors analytically, you will gain an understanding of how you perceive colors.
On the second day, you will experience the relationship between light and color. Anyone who specializes in architecture is well aware that colors are rendered by light. Why do colors look different in different light? How can I determine the best lighting and color scheme? In this workshop, each person will create a device that can analyze light components, and observes and understands how light and color works.
