Social Safety and Support for Students
Studying at university can bring various academic, personal, or social challenges. We recognise the importance of supporting students in these situations, which is why we offer a range of options for whom you can turn to if you encounter difficulties during your studies. Here you will find contacts for individuals and links to services that are ready to assist you and provide the necessary support.
Educational Advisor:
At the Faculty of Architecture, VUT, the academic advisor is Mr. Ing. arch. Vítězslav Nový. If you experience any difficulties or personal struggles, you can contact her in person in studio B940, by email at novyv@vutbr.cz, or by phone at +420 541 146 661.
VUT Social Safety Contact Network
At VUT, there is a network of social safety contacts that you can turn to across faculties. All contact persons are bound by confidentiality and report to the support coordinators, Ing. Bohdana Šlégrová and Mgr. Martina Martínková, rather than the faculty structure.

These individuals also collect the messages from the trust box, located on the landing between the ground floor and the first floor of building A.

You can also reach out to the Alfons Counseling Center and the Center for Education and Counseling, which provide psychological assistance and support for academic difficulties.
