The Bohuslav Fuchs Award: Best Studios and Projects

This year, the jury of the Bohuslav Fuchs Award recognized studios and projects that impressed with their sensitive approach to the city, existing structures, and current social issues. The 31st edition of this student competition, organized by the SOFA association, took place at the Faculty of Architecture on June 4 and 5, 2026.

The works were exhibited directly in the school studios, where they could be viewed by students, faculty, and the public. The winners were selected by a jury of experts consisting of Kateřina Krebsová, Jakub Čevela, Tomáš Klanc, and Lenka Milerová.

Winning projects (in no particular order):

Teodora Karasová – The Carpet House (Radek Toman’s studio)

Thereza Unverricht – Unparked – Reclaiming Urban Life (Ondřej Chybík and Šárka Kubínová’s studio)

Radek Zabloudil – Trigrid (Marie Joja’s studio)

Winning studios (in no particular order):

Brno Shanghai – Tatiana Tomanová, Roman Warta, Michal Palaščák
