Do you have innovative research, an original project, or a business idea that deserves attention? Apply to the 11th edition of the international competition Falling Walls Lab Prague, Czech Republic and present your idea to the world in just three minutes. The application deadline is June 30, 2026.

The competition is open to students, PhD candidates, and postdocs from all disciplines. The key task is to present your project clearly and convincingly in English—concise, structured, and impactful.

Final in Prague and a Chance for the Global Stage

The national final will take place on September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the National Library of Technology in Prague. The winner of the Czech round will gain a unique opportunity to represent the Czech Republic at the global final in Berlin (November 6–9, 2026), held as part of the prestigious Falling Walls Science Summit.

This international summit brings together leading figures from academia, business, and the public sector—people who are truly changing the world. Travel and accommodation for the winner are fully covered.

Special Award for Women in Innovation

The Czech final also includes the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic Award for Women Innovators, which supports and highlights outstanding projects led by women.

The award winner receives: participation in the Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin, inclusion in the Female Science Talents program and opportunities to connect with leading women scientists and innovators worldwide.

This initiative opens doors to the global scientific community and strengthens the role of women in research and innovation.
